In the second quarter of 2024, the iOS fitness and weight loss category showed varying trends in user engagement and downloads. Sensor Tower's data offers a closer look at the top applications in this space.

Strava: Run, Bike, Hike experienced a revenue peak in early May, reaching around $66K, with a noticeable increase in weekly active users to 118K during the same period. Downloads remained robust, peaking at nearly 5.2K at the end of April.

The Basic-Fit app, despite not generating revenue, maintained a consistent download rate, peaking at 4.4K in late April. Weekly active users reached a high of 153K in the third week of May.

Yuka - Food & Cosmetic Scanner saw its highest revenue at the start of June, approximately $1.6K, with downloads peaking at 3.8K in late April. Active users showed a slight upward trend, reaching almost 27K by the end of June.

komoot - hike, bike & run displayed a varied revenue pattern, with a notable dip to $8K in late April, followed by a recovery to around $14.7K by late May. Downloads were highest at the beginning of May at over 4.2K, while weekly active users saw an increase to 28K towards the end of June.

JustFit: Lazy Workout & Fit showed a steady revenue trend, with a slight increase to $4.3K by late June. Downloads saw a peak of 3.4K in mid-April, and active users grew to 9.2K in the final week of June.
